Robert White is the Director of Change at Mayday Trust, he is responsible for taking the learning Mayday has developed over the past nine years and work with Local Authorities and Central Government in London and the South East. Collectively they will develop new ways of designing and commissioning services available to those going through tough times. Robert has worked in the system since he was 19 years old and has spent the last six years in the heart of Westminster City Council, leading on the commissioning of supported housing and rough sleeper services. Through this experience, he has become a passionate believer that the system needs to change, removing the barriers that keep people stuck in a revolving door of dependency.
Mayday has allowed me to articulate and contextualise thoughts and ideas that had been growing inside as I experienced the design and development of the system first hand. I now have the opportunity to share that learning and work with likeminded people to deliver true paradigm shift in the system – contact me if you want to hear more!
