Andrew Hudson

Andrew’s early career was in the Treasury from which his experience led to senior roles as Chief Executive of the Valuation Office Agency, Assistant Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive (Finance and Performance) at Essex County Council, and latterly Director General for Public Services at the Treasury, where he led work on public spending.

Andrew now has a portfolio of roles; he is a non-executive at Circle Housing Group, the charity Volunteering Matters, and the What Works Centre for Wellbeing.  Andrew is the chair at Hackney Winter Night Shelter and The Old Church Arts Centre in Stoke Newington.  In his spare time, he enjoys running and country walking and he is writing a book about the London to Holyhead road.
