Working with a PTS Coach

“Our values are about respect, dignity and getting to know you, exploring your talents and abilities and always believing there is no limit to what you can achieve if you want to.”Pat McArdle, Mayday Trust Chief Executive Officer

Everyday people’s lives are transformed by unexpected events. In just one moment you can find life has turned upside-down. At Mayday we believe tough times should be temporary, not a life sentence. It’s tough. But you work through it and move on to a brighter future. Just a bump along the road of life.

To help overcome these tough times Mayday Trust provides person-led, transitional and strength-based support through the Personal Transitions Service (PTS) and PTS Coaches, as well as supported housing at various locations in the United Kingdom.

A PTS Coach will work alongside a person, focusing on what’s strong and going from there. This is a voluntary relationship, without an agenda and 100% led by the person a PTS Coach is working with. People will be encouraged to explore their interests, build up positive networks away from services and overcome any barriers that stand in the way of the future they want.

Whether you are interested in working with a PTS Coach or an organisation looking to refer someone you are working with then please get in touch with the relevant area and we will do our best to help.

Mayday Trust currently offers the PTS in the following areas, click on the location you’re interested in to find out more:
