About Mayday
Mayday Trust has radically transformed over the past 10 years from a traditional supported housing and homelessness charity to a leading voice for person-led and strength-based systems change. We offer strengths-based coaching to people going through tough times. We support other charities and providers to deliver coaching and to replace outdated support services and systems with strengths-based alternatives.
The Role
Mayday is looking for someone who has a passion for social justice and experience in fundraising to join our team as our first dedicated fundraiser, coordinating and leading our grants, trusts and government fundraising. This is an opportunity to build a fundraising operation, with a senior team who have a strong fundraising track record and existing relationships.
Your work will help Mayday to bring our radically different support to more people going through tough times, and to create real change in our broken public service systems.
We are looking for someone with fundraising flair, who is highly organised and able to work effectively with our friendly, creative and busy team.
We are actively seeking to maintain and build our team’s diversity and would encourage people from backgrounds and communities under-represented in the charity sector to apply.
How to Apply
Please complete the application form (link below) and submit the completed version to: recruitment@maydaytrust.org.uk. Applications close: 1pm Friday 13th May. We will be inviting successful applicants to an initial very short informal discussion on Tuesday 17th May, from which we will be inviting a shortlist of candidates to a final interview on Friday 20th May. Interviews will be held virtually.
